In this session, we’ll evaluate where an institution falls on the cyber risk continuum and what that means. For institutions that are questioning whether to buy coverage, we’ll discuss how to evaluate the limit-to-premium ratio, what it means to “go bare,” how to prepare for a cyber breach without coverage, and carrier-provided services versus university-contracted services.

Objectives:
+ Understand how to benchmark against other universities to decide on comfortable cyber liability limit for your institution's risk appetite
+ Gain insight on how to approach this conversation with the IT Director / CISO from the risk management department
+ Evaluate where your institution falls on the cyber continuum and understand potential next steps
+ Learn to compare important coverages and services provided through insurance carriers and brokers
